How do I place an order?
Simply click on the category of your choice on the homepage, and then choose the item you would like to put in your shopping basket, and click on 'Add to basket'. It will stay there until you decide to continue on to the payments page, unless you delete it.
How do I create a Boutiko account?
When you first place an order, you will be offered the option to open an account. There are several advantages to this, including a permanent basket, order history and address book. It will also save you from having to enter your details each time you make a purchase. You will be asked to fill in your name, address, email address and a password for access to your account. All your information will be kept confidential and secure, and no card details are kept, as you actually leave the Boutiko site to pay, whether by Paypal or Protx.

What are the payment options?
You can pay by credit or debit card through our secure online payment processor (Protx), or by Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account to use this payment method. If you choose to pay by Paypal you will be taken to a secure page to make the payment. Alternatively you can pay by cheque, made payable to Boutiko; please be aware that we will not post your order until the cheque has cleared and therefore next day delivery will not be an option. We accept the following cards: Visa Credit and Debit Cards, MasterCard, Solo, Maestro, and Visa Electron.

How long will my purchase take to arrive?
All orders are sent out within 1 working day of receipt. If you choose the Standard Parcel option, the delivery time is 3-5 working days. If you choose the Special Delivery option, your purchase will arrive the next day.

What if I'm out when my order is delivered?
If you are likely to be out it may be advisable to get your order sent to an address where someone will be available to take it, such as work or a friend. Special Delivery parcels must be signed for, and items that do not fit in your letterbox will be returned to the Post Office for you to collect.

Can you send a gift directly to the recipient?
We certainly can. When you reach the checkout, just indicate in the comments box your choice of wrapping (dark green or fuschia), and if you have chosen a card you would like us to write for you, tell us the message. There is an option to enter separate billing and delivery addresses when you pay.

What do you do with my personal details?
If you have consented, we occasionally use your details to advise you of new products, special offers and competitions. You can unsubscribe from this at any time. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details on this.

My order has not arrived and I requested next day delivery. Where is it?
The most likely answer to this is that the couriers tried to deliver the order but no one was home to sign for it. We do suggest that if you are unlikely to be home between 9am and 5pm that you give an alternative delivery address, such as work or a friend who could take it for you. In the event that no one is in, the couriers will leave a calling card so that delivery may be rearranged. After that they will send a letter. If there is still no response, they will call us to ask if we want it to be returned to Boutiko. To avoid this therefore, and missing your parcel, please do give an address where someone will be in!
